About Ann

Ann Chinnis is the author of two poetry chapbooks- “Poppet, My Poppet”, and “I Can Catch Anything”. She is the recipient of a Pushcart Prize. Her work has been published in Sky Island Journal, Nostos, Atlanta Review, Gyroscope, and Crab Creek Review, among others.  Ann graduated from Yale University with an BS in Biology. She was awarded her MD at Eastern Virginia Medical School. Ann served as  Department Chair of Emergency Medicine at West Virginia University and Associate Dean of Clinical Informatics. She is a retired Emergency Physician and a leadership coach/CEO of Matrix Executive Coaching
